You purchase the alcohol and we handle everything else: professional bartenders, full bar setup and breakdown, custom cocktail menu design, fresh-squeezed juices, handcrafted syrups, garnishes, ice and coolers, biodegradable cups, cane straws, and beverage napkins. This lets you control your liquor budget and choose your own spirits. We can guide you on exactly what to buy and how much.

How much does a mobile bar service cost in NJ?

Pricing depends on your package, event duration, guest count, and travel distance. Stiir offers three tiers — Bartender Only (labor and tools only), Signature (full bar setup for a 3-hour event), and Premium (Signature plus full mixer and garnish package). Contact us with your event date, location, and guest count and we'll build a custom quote. There are no hidden fees — everything is outlined upfront.

What's included in the Stiir Signature package?

The Signature package includes: a pre-event consultation and custom cocktail menu planning session, one trained professional bartender, full bar equipment and tools, custom bar styling and branded decor, three signature cocktails or mocktails designed around your event, fresh-squeezed juices, handcrafted syrups, garnishes, ice and coolers, biodegradable cups, cane straws, beverage napkins, full bar setup and breakdown, general liability and liquor liability insurance, and travel within our standard service area.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Every Stiir event includes general liability and liquor liability insurance. We can provide documentation on request — many NJ and NYC venues require proof of coverage before confirming your event, so we have this ready to go as standard.

Can you do mocktails and zero-proof drinks?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — and we take them just as seriously as cocktails. Our zero-proof bar uses the same fresh-squeezed juices, handcrafted syrups, and craft garnishes as our full cocktail service. The result is a stunning, elevated experience for guests who don't drink or are sober-curious. Zero-proof menus are available as a standalone service or as an add-on to any package. They're especially popular for baby showers, bridal showers, corporate events with mixed audiences, and Dry January events.

What areas do you serve?

Stiir is based in New Jersey and serves all of NJ and New York City. Our regular service areas include Bergen County, Essex County, Hudson County (Hoboken, Jersey City), Union County, Morris County, and Passaic County across NJ, plus Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island in NYC. We also serve parts of Westchester County and Long Island. Travel beyond 15 miles from our NJ base may include a travel fee — ask us when you inquire.

How far in advance do I need to book?

For weddings, we recommend booking 3–6 months in advance, especially for spring (April–June) and fall (September–November) dates which fill up first. For private parties and corporate events, 4–6 weeks is usually enough. That said, reach out as early as you can to lock in your date — we can sometimes accommodate last-minute bookings depending on availability.

How many bartenders do I need?

As a general rule: one bartender comfortably handles up to 75 guests during a standard 3-hour event. For 75–150 guests we recommend two bartenders. For larger events or events with a faster service pace (open bar from the start, lots of specialty cocktails), we'll advise on the right staffing based on your specific setup. Additional bartenders are available as an add-on.

Do you travel to New York City?

Yes — we regularly serve events in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, Hoboken, and Jersey City. NYC events may include a travel fee depending on your exact venue location. Contact us with the address and we'll confirm the fee upfront in your quote.

Can you design a custom cocktail menu for my event?

That's one of our favorite parts of the process. During your pre-event consultation, Lexi works with you to build a menu around your theme, flavor preferences, and guest profile. You can name your signature cocktails, choose your garnishes, and even have a branded cocktail menu card. Whether you want something classic, tropical, seasonal, or totally unique — we'll make it happen.

Question 11

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens. Contact us as soon as you know — we work with you wherever possible. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy is outlined in your booking agreement. For weddings and large events, we strongly recommend reaching out at least 30 days before your event date if you need to make changes.

Question 12

Do you provide the bar structure/cart itself?

Yes — bar rental is included in the Signature and Premium packages. We bring a styled bar setup that fits the aesthetic of your event. If you have a specific vision or an existing bar structure at your venue, let us know during your consultation and we'll work with what's there.
